Librarians' vsit

Today two librarians from the Christchurch public libraries came to visit. There were lots of laughs and good stories.
They say everyone should have a free library card to be able to borrow the books, DVDs, magazines and online resources. Have you got your library card?

Fraction Fun

What do pizza, sushi balls and chocolate blocks have in common?

....They can be cut in half and quarters!
We used our imaginations and pretended to make food out of kinetic sand. Then we cut our creations into 1/2s and 1/4s.

Our Mini Musical - The Ants and The Grasshoppers - in progress...

We have made costumes, painted scenery and made props.
We have practised our lines and dancing.
It is not so easy to remember what to say, when to come on stage and when to stand still. Not to mention keeping our hats on our heads!!
But we are getting better and are just about ready to present our play.
Invitations coming soon. Here is a sneak preview...
