Measuring
We are learning about measuring. We got into pairs and measured some of the things in our playground. We found out that using steps is not a good way to measure things because we had different size steps and our answers were really different. Next week we will try again. What will we measure with next time?

Teddy Bears' Picnic
Our teddies and favourite toys came to school to see what we do in Room 17. They helped with reading, story writing and art. We made them teddy biscuits and shared our milk with them at our Teddy Bears' Picnic. Oakley helped to take the photos for this movie.

We also made amazing teddy pictures. They are in a book in our class library. Come in and take a look.
Trains
We played with Thomas the Train and then made our own T train and tracks. Toot - toot!
Collage Tigers
We learned how to draw terrific tigers. We asked our buddies to help start our collage - it is a very big job. We will have to finish them next week.
